You’ve visualized, recited your affirmations, said your prayers, and performed almost all the manifestation rituals and routines imaginable… but nothing has worked! Do you ever make affirmations and find yourself giving up on them after a few days? One of the reasons why is that underneath it all, we carry subconscious beliefs that undercut the changes we’d like to make in our lives.
Affirmations are more than just a few words spoken so many times a day in a set order. Surround yourself with people who support your dreams and encourage you. Go where you are celebrated and not merely tolerated. - Feed Your Mind with Positivity
Have you ever thought of purchasing a great audio CD, podcast on leadership or an inspiring message? Changing the station can shift your mindset. What if you dedicated 50% of your time in the car to listening to an inspirational message or positivity; and the other 50% to the music you enjoy? It’s baby steps! We suggest trying it for the next couple of weeks, keeping in mind that it takes 21 days to develop a healthy habit.
- Address the Negative
Before we can truly believe in ourself, we need to address the negative thoughts. Practice recognizing and addressing them so they don’t rent space in your mind. You’d be surprised at how much space this frees up for growth!
